The first habit covered, exercise, is the single most important habit you can adopt for a longer and healthier life.

Have you started or improved your exercise habit yet?

Without the habit I’m covering today you’ll have issues with…

  • Poor Concentration
  • Mood Swings and Depression
  • Weekend Immunity
  • Weight Gain
  • Low Sex Drive
  • Poor Balance
  • Increased Accident Risk
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Risk of Heart Disease
  • Risk of Diabetes
You need to get your sleep.

The American Sleep Association recommends you, as an adult, sleep 7 – 9 hours per night. (Teenagers and younger are recommended to get 10+).

Not only is the amount of sleep important but the quality of sleep is just as if not more important.

Are you getting the recommended 7 – 9 hours of sleep per 24 hours?

How can you improve the quality of your sleep?

It is well worth the time and effort to learn how to optimize and maximize your sleep habits.

There is a plethora of information available on how to sleep more and better, but ultimately it comes down to you making it a priority and seeking help.

The American Sleep Association is a good place to start to educate yourself more about sleep or lack thereof.

To summarize:
1.  Have a healthy exercise habit.
2. Develop a healthy sleep habit.

Tomorrow, Habit number 3.
