Stay Connected

My wife and I have chosen, for now, to homeschool our children.

You will cast a vote for the presidential candidate of your choosing.

You have chosen a career path.

We choose based on our perceptions of the world, what we think is optimal, and what we deem as important.

You will be viewed, judged, criticized, and praised for nearly every choice you make in one way or another.  This feedback will come in many forms including silently, verbally, and relationally to name a few.

There are many things that I simply don’t care about and I am sure the same is true for you and yet we will be judged on our lack of caring.

Once you discover, understand, and accept that you will be judged no matter what you choose you gain the upper hand.

You will then be able to pursue that which you believe with gusto and go all in because you know that no matter what you do there will be people rooting you on and people trying to tear you down.

Going all in is when things really start to happen.

To go pro the way that Steven Pressfield writes about in “Turning Pro” requires going all in.

Once you have made the choice is there any other way to go but all in?

How can you judge if something is going to work if you don’t give it your all and do it the way it should be done?

Can you expect water to boil if you don’t give the heat and time needed to get to 212 degrees?

No sane human is immune to being judged nor the feelings that come with judgment and thus to live your best life you must understand and accept judgement as part of the complexity and richness of life and go all in any way.
